Before you start
Have your photographs ready. When you look at your photographs through your own computer you should have the option to resize them around 600 width x 400 height pixels, and they need to be in the JPEG format. Make sure they are all landscape not portrait layout. Make sure you know what folder they are in and name each folder so you know which picture is which to stop you adding the same picture twice, you can add up to 4 photos, I usually add a main shot, living room, bed 1 and garden or view, but use which ones shows your home off the best.
Have your home information ready to include size, age, make, model etc. if you know. You will need your text ready, you need 25 words to describe your home, 25 words to describe the local facilites, 25 words to describe the park and 100 words to add anything else. You can use fewer words but not more. I usually type them onto a standard word document then if you highlight each paragraph click on ‘Tools’ there is an option for ‘Word count’, which will add your words up for you to make sure you have the correct amount.
Once ready
Step one: Adding your information
Click on “Register to sell” and fill in your contact information (not the address of the home unless it is the same). Give yourself a username and password you will remember, make a note of it somewhere safe if you need to. Then fill in the text as you see it in the image at the bottom of the page (this proves its not ‘Spam’ mail when it gets to us).
Step 2: Adding the home information
Now add the details of the home, i.e. address etc. Ignore reference number, we fill that in for you. The price must have no commas etc so if your home is £89,950, type it in as 89950. Please make sure the whole page is filled in including park age limits and the pets section as if you move onto step 3 the information will not be saved.
Step 3: Upload Images
This is where your early preparation makes the work easy, just click on ‘browse’ and find your images, click on open. Do this for up to 4 photos (use the main photo for your first).
Step 4:
Your images may take a few seconds to upload then you will enter the payment screen where you can either click on ‘try for free’, or pay for 1 or 3 months or else till the home is sold. You save £9.99 by adding the home yourself.
if you have any problems please email or telephone us, details are on the contact us page. I hope this has been helpful.
Good luck
